THE STORY
This new monochrome serie is dedicated to my favorite landscape: mountains. I was born at the bottom of the Alps, in Grenoble, and mountains have been watching over me my entire life <3
I love creating collages because they’re like 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬.
The main story is the one that first catches the eye: the 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬, a winter mountain scenery.
A few seconds later you start noticing all 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 of the collage, each telling its own tale: is he a famous surfer, risking his life to beat a new record? Who are these people walking on the snow? A brother & sister on a family trip? A couple of adventurous freeriders…?
With these stories is mingled 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: what desire drove me to create this collage? Why another mountain collage, in warm autumn tones? 🍂
